3 Months Already!

Time is passing and Judah is growing big sooo quickly!

We took these pictures on the same day as his official photo shoot for 3 months, so he was less than enthused to see the camera...but we did get one good smile.

Judah is the rare baby who actually enjoys tummy time :)

In big parent bragging & development news, Judah rolled over from his tummy to his back on 4/25/12!

Being 3 months meant very sadly mommy had to return to work :(

Lucky for Judah his Grandma and his Nana each came to spend time with him!

Big Boy on Palm Sunday

 

Sailing

Recently we were able to go on a sailing adventure with some friends in Kemah, TX

  We had a great time and I think little Judah even enjoyed it....other than the life jacket, but what baby enjoys the giant life jacket. 

We all got to take turns steering and controlling the lines and relaxing.

Judah took a nap and then enjoyed some time stretching out and kicking below deck

Then rejoined us above and was very content

Given my love of being on a boat and on the water, as I grew up doing so...Yay for Judah having his first adventure on a boat at 2 months! :)

  Hopefully there will be more sailing adventures to come.

And we are definitely looking forward to checking out Grandma's new boat in April!

In Jake's family, the oldest son and daughter have two middle names representing both sides of the family

Rosenaldo- after Erin's Grandpa Vigil

James- after Jake's paternal grandfather and dad

 He is healthy and we are all very happy...and sleepy

Boulders Beach & Penguins

Just up the coast from Simon's Town is Boulders Beach

...where a colony of African penguins live

...which made Jake very very happy :)

We were able to spend several hours enjoying the penguins up close as they wandered freely

 and the rocks

and going for a swim

 Here we are venturing into the cold waters of False Bay (the Indian Ocean side)

We really enjoyed our time with the penguins!
