Judah Videos

Just for fun...a couple videos of Judah, both from my phone, so not the best quality
Scooting
this was from his early days of scooting, while not really interested in crawling, because he is so fast and proficient at this, he has now in the past few days started to coordinate arm and leg movements simulating crawling

More Utah

We were fortunate to be able to take another trip to Utah this year...this time in honor of Ayden's 1st Birthday! As a bonus it is during the Fall, my very favorite time of year...in a place where there actually is a Fall.
Ayden getting ready to dig into his cake

In addition we were able to see lots of family...
Celebrating Ayden with Grandpa

Mommy's Grandma and many of her grandkids at the party
playing with a cup and straw with Aunt Melanie
playing with Nana, Grandpa came too
with cousin Dawnie and her baby Annaleigh

And of course we spent more time on the boat, this time at one of the lakes Mommy grew up on, Starvation Reservoir

exploring the water and mud with his cousins, which he found very interesting

Utah State Fair

In honor of Judah's 8 Month Birthday and the big upcoming Utes game against our Utah rivals, yesterday we all put on our Red and went to the State Fair!
Judah hanging out with Uncle Joshie

Judah seeing cows for the first time...he's not too sure, but he liked the sheep
A momma and her new calf, born earlier in the day
Judah hanging with Grandma and eating a plate for dinner
 Judah and Mommy
 Elli riding a pony
Silly shots...

The outcome of the game seems questionable given the Utes stellar performance last week against the Aggies, but if the Utes lose this one, we'll blame Josh for not cheering loud enough in the MUSS.

7 Months!

Judah is getting so BIG!
I keep asking him to SLOW down, but he isn't interested.

I somehow neglected to include in the last post, that one of the other milestones Judah has achieved is cutting his first two teeth, which both came within a few days of each other.  If you look closely at bottom two pictures you can see them :)

In addition, in the past 2.5 weeks, he has become quite the proficient scooter, which further emphasizes for me how fast he is growing and developing.  We are not ready for a baby on the move...nor or Battlecat and Kelsey :)

More 6 Months

Things Judah has learned/enjoys doing at 6 months:
Just beginning to move (scary, as we're not ready!)--Judah likes to turn in circles on his belly to get to what he wants
He is also getting very strong and can push up quite high
Playing with his toes...and putting them in his mouth
Eating solids, which he loves!
Here eating oatmeal and then banana.
First time getting to sit in a high chair at a restaurant,
now that he has mastered sitting by himself

Continuing to grow in his hair as a mohawk...
and spiking it up to be like Daddy
His first soccer ball...which also makes Daddy very happy :)
And finally at school last month Judah got to do something really fun....finger painting on the floor!

Judah and Kelsey

Judah LOVES Battlecat and Kelsey.
Here are some cute moments we have captured of he & Kelsey
(who is calmer and easier to capture pictures with)

Whenever they enter the room, he stops what he is doing and watches them. Today when he got home from school he just laughed and laughed as we pet them together :0

Visitors

We have been lucky to have a few family visitors this month!
At the beginning of the month, Uncle Jonathan and Aunt Christina drove down with friends from St. Louis (who were coming to a wedding here) and spent a weekend with us, so that they could meet their nephew!
Jonathan and Judah spent some quality time together doing Judah's favorite things, including reading and playing.  Judah really liked Jonathan...and would laugh and smile at him...maybe because he looks a lot like his Daddy :)

Then this past week, Aunt Jenny and Ayden came to stay with us for a whole week to help out while Daddy was out of town for work.
Ayden and Judah enjoyed playing together.  Judah thought it was very cool that Ayden was mobile and could get all around.  Ayden thought Judah was pretty interesting too, and kept pointing at(poking) Judah's eyes and ears.
Battlecat wasn't too excited about a moving baby and spent a fair amount of the first part of the week running away from Ayden; however she soon also learned he was pretty cool as he eats table food--and didn't mind sharing with Battlecat.  Oh the things to come :)
Mommy thought it was very nice to have her sister around and to get to do things with their babies together.  We also were able to take the boys to the baby pool at the YMCA.
Judah thought the shooting water was really cool...and kept working to get it, even though it would squirt him in the face.
Ayden wasn't quite as interested in the water and was content to continue working on his cruising skills.
Judah also enjoyed splashing and kicking his legs in the water.

Thanks for coming to visit us!
