5 Months

Smiley Judah, now 5 months old! 

It's hard to believe each month passes so quickly!

Judah now prefers to spend the majority of his time on his tummy, whether playing or sleeping. He is now very proficient at turning 360 degrees in circles, while on his tummy, to get to what he wants. Crawling seems imminent and mommy is not ready!

He continues to work on sitting up and is much closer to sitting independently.

 He also is becoming much better with his hands.

Judah continues to be very talkative, especially first thing in the mornings.  When he is tired and we are rocking and singing to him, just before he gives in and falls asleep, he likes to sing along. 

It's all very cute :)...but we are rather biased. 

Happy 5 Months Judah!

Happy 1st Father's Day

Judah loves his Daddy.

He is lucky to have him so involved in his life--Judah gets to spend every other Friday at home with his Daddy and gets to ride with him to and from school each day. 

His daddy is definitely the best person at making him laugh!

Memorial Day

To celebrate his first Memorial Day,

we took Judah swimming for the first time!

We forgot to mention, but you can see it well in some of these pictures...Judah's hair is going in as a mohawk!

4 Months

Time continues to pass very quickly...Judah is already 4 1/2 months old and Mommy is now in her LAST month of residency!!!  Keeping up with our busy schedule, we are of course late in posting Judah's 4 month pictures...



4 Month Well Child Stats:

14 lbs 1.5 oz (30%)

25 in (50%)

Judah has turned into a very smiley and easy going baby.

He enjoys looking in mirrors, giggling with daddy, grabbing his toes--very nearlygetting them all the way into his mouth, taking baths and watching Battlecat, who often lays near him.

He is pretty well-adjusted to daycare and really likes his teacher.  Daddy gets to visit him almost everyday around lunch :)

He thinks the quilt Aunt Jenny made him is quite fascinating.  We often sit in this chair to nurse, and when he is done, he enjoys starring at it and oohing at all the different patterns and colors.

He now also has mastered rolling from back to front and is getting better at using his hands specifically.  And we have reached the stage where everything goes in our mouth!

Oh and all the other babies in his class have now learned to sit up pretty well, so Judah thinks he should be able to do this too.

Finally this month Judah has moved to sleeping in his big boy crib...which is comparatively very spacious, and given all his rolling skills he manages to get himself into all kinds of positions!

Judah's 4 Month Birthday was a special one as it was also my first Mother's Day!

Judah's 1st Trip to SLC

A couple weeks ago, we were able to take Judah on his first trip to Salt Lake City, so his Daddy could participate in the SLC 1/2 Marathon for the 4th year in a row

Judah was able to meet lots of family, including...

We were also able to go on the inaugural voyage of Grandma's new boat

In addition to attending a baby shower and meeting more cousins and friends, and posing in front of Grandma's pretty tulips!

3 Months Already!

Time is passing and Judah is growing big sooo quickly!

We took these pictures on the same day as his official photo shoot for 3 months, so he was less than enthused to see the camera...but we did get one good smile.

Judah is the rare baby who actually enjoys tummy time :)

In big parent bragging & development news, Judah rolled over from his tummy to his back on 4/25/12!

Being 3 months meant very sadly mommy had to return to work :(

Lucky for Judah his Grandma and his Nana each came to spend time with him!
